How to Tre Flip

Before we start, you need to know how to bs shuv and how to kick flip.

Feet placement:
You'll want your front foot in kick flip position, right behind the bolts off to the side a bit with a slight angle and your back foot on the tail, but hold the edge of the board to the front of you with the ball of your foot (where your toes and feet meet), as if you were griping it like a monkey.

Scooping:
The Tre-flip is all in the back foot. Imagine scooping into a bowl of hard ice cream that's been sitting in the freezer for a few days, that's exactly what your foot is going to be doing. Use the tip of your foot and scoop it like a regular shuv, except while you're scooping, push down hard and more towards your front foot at the end of the scoop (like making the letter "u" with your foot) it'll give your board a slight start rotation to the kick flip part of the trick while also doing the 360 shuv.

Flick and catch:
While you're scooping, you need to slide your front foot up and off the board at the concave of the board like a kick flip, but leave your front foot off the board after you flick, because the shuv of the back foot will force the board forward slightly and it will float right to your front foot and it needs to be there to catch it.
It'll feel like you're just hopping to the side a little, after a while. :)

With a bit of practice this trick will come easily. Once you've got it down try adding a little style to it, let your legs spread a bit it the air after the scoop.

!Remember, bolts bolts bolts!
